Tensile Sofa by Therese Glimskär

Swedish designer Therese Glimskär has created a tensile sofa.

“I look for beautiful solutions in the active and passive use of objects” – this is how the young Swedish designer Therese Glimskär describes the intention of her work. With her sculptural ‘Tensile Sofa’, whose shape is transformed by use, this aim becomes very clear. The sofa is also special for sustainable reasons: with her minimal use of material Therese challenges traditional upholstery techniques.
